Birmingham Year 3 BDS: Periodontology

Year 3 Periodontology at the University of Birmingham. Specialty-level teaching: root surface debridement, antimicrobial therapy, perio-endo lesions and furcation management, epulides, gingival overgrowth, occlusion in periodontal care, gingival recession and dentine sensitivity, specialist therapy outcomes, acute periodontal conditions, and the perio-prosth and perio-ortho interfaces. Plus public health: tobacco, alcohol, obesity, nutrition and teamwork.
